I had to share this beautifully sweet pictures! Swans are my favorite birds! When we went to go visit my Grandparents in Sumter, South Carolina, we always went to Swan Lake to feed the swans. The gardens alone were beautiful and magical, and then came the Swans, lovely creatures straight from the fairy tales. Gliding across the water without effort and so incredibly graceful. And if they saw that you had a bag of bread in your hands they would head straight for you, literally eat right out of your hands. What a treat that was for a little city girl with a country heart. I have always wished I had my own pond that Swans would love to live in. Who knows, maybe one day.
